By the time I was eight years old, I had lived in nine different homes.
My family resided in Vancouver (where I was conceived), Calgary, Toronto, and Kitchener. Between the ages of nine and eighteen, I managed to live in another four different residences. This is undoubtedly common for volatile, welfare-dependent families like my own.
